About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team.
- This role will play an integral part in managing our financial processes, including revenue accounting, equity, technical accounting research, and owning our external audit process.
- The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives on accuracy, and has a passion for continuous learning and process improvement - particularly with Finance Leadership being one of CloudZero's primary buyers.
Responsibilities
- Record revenue entries and maintain accuracy of the revenue ledger
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on various responsibilities
- Comfortable learning and working in new technology platforms (we use Campfire, Ramp, and other modern tools)
- CPA preferred
Nice to have
- Experience with revenue accounting, technical accounting, or audit a plus
- Based in Boston and willing to commute to the office at least 2x per week preferred
