About the role
- The Principal Solution Architect also contributes to architecture standards, patterns, and technology roadmaps.
- Experience designing and documenting end-to-end architecture solutions
- Guide development teams to ensure solutions meet standards for scalability, security, and integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and document high-level and detailed solution architectures including applications, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
- Lead architecture walkthroughs and design reviews with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support Agile delivery by collaborating on features and stories in Azure DevOps and JIRA.
- Assist in developing technology roadmaps and future-state architecture direction.
- Partner with business stakeholders and product teams to translate requirements into actionable technical designs.
- This role influences solution direction through leadership in design reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- You are a strong collaborator who can influence without direct authority
- You can clearly communicate complex technical concepts to business and executive audiences
- You have a hands-on, curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- You are detail-oriented and focused on delivering practical, usable solutions
- 10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of experience specifically in solution architecture or IT architecture
- Experience with ERP and CRM platforms such as JD Edwards and Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with integrations, APIs, and data architecture
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
