About the role
- Mungo Homes has an opening for a Land Acquisition Manager in our Greenville, SC market!
- This position is responsible for sourcing,, assessing, and negotiating land acquisition deals for residential development, including performing due diligence, concept land planning, and environmental / utility system / title analysis.

Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, and professional organizations to gain the best positioning for land deals, and to maintain market awareness.
- Negotiate price and contracts with sellers; coordinate preparation of contracts and closing documents.
- Manage the due diligence process on land acquisition opportunities, including initial master planning work in close coordination with internal design and land development teams.
- Manage, coordinate, and meet all entitlement needs for land acquisitions.
- Manage feasibility studies and the preparation of land acquisition approval submissions.
- Maintain inventory reports, critical dates, contract summaries and periodic market analysis.

- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- or equivalent combination of education and experience. Local experience is recommended and preferred.
