About the role

  • Position: Western Colorado University invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach.
  • The position reports to the Head Men's Basketball Coach.

Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Men's Basketball Coach is responsible for recruiting and helping to maintain eligibility within the program.
  • There will also be an emphasis to help with student-athlete development and academic support.
  • The position will also help to organize and implement travel plans and also help with adherence to all compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year of coaching or playing is required.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated coaching experience within a collegiate athletics program
  • This position is FLSA exempt and is NOT eligible for overtime.

Compensation

  • $40,560 annual salary.
