About the role

  • Job Duties: Help evaluate and execute infrastructure investment opportunities across the energy, transportation, digital, and water and waste sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and help support deal team members on aspects of new platform investments, add-on investments, divestitures and related financings.
  • Perform diligence efforts on pursued deals, including business diligence, risk underwriting, and managing external advisors.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support transaction negotiations.
  • Providing hands-on support to portfolio companies.

Requirements

  • Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and five (5) years of experience as an Investment Banking Associate, Investment Banking Analyst
  • Must have five (5) years of experience with: Infrastructure investing in energy, transportation, digital, water and waste sectors
  • Proficiency with LBO, NPV, and DCF modeling (both developing and utilizing existing models) to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor and optimize existing investments
  • Experience with forecasting such as operating and scenario analysis, and investment underwriting and evaluation analysis
  • or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Infrastructure investing in energy, transportation, digital, water and waste sectors
  • Infrastructure (oil, gas, renewables, transportation, digital, waste) Industry and company research skills such as producing in-depth research on U.S. power and renewables market, energy sector and individual companies to assist with the investment process
  • Analytical, financial modeling, and accounting skills including competence with financial statements and analysis
  • Investment banking and private equity experience including M&A, Leveraged Buyout Analysis, Discounted Cash Flow Analysis "DCFs", Restructuring, Comparables Analysis, and Precedent Transaction Analysis
  • and Use Excel to analyze budgets, interacting with key members of management, positioning businesses to be prepared for exit, and assisting with sales of portfolio companies.

  • For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$225,000.00 - USD$245,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Compensation

  • For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$225,000.00 - USD$245,000.00.
