Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations for the course. Participate in the preparation of the final evaluations for the course.
- Plan and implement orientation of new faculty in theory & clinical facilities for the courses.
- Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Submit required program reports & forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner.
- A Master of Science in Nursing may be required if teaching students attending classes from certain states (e.g. New Mexico, Arizona).
Nice to have
- 2 years Teaching experience Level I
- 5 years Teaching experience Level II
- 10 years Teaching experience Level III
- 10 plus years Teaching experience Level IV
Skills
- at least 4 years' experience in direct patient care as an RN
- a BSN degree and a health-related Masters or Doctorate degree*
- at least 3 years' experience in direct patient care as an RN
