About the role

- EQUIPMENT USED: Cabler, to include cage with reel payoffs and filler payoffs, die plates, closing dies and capstan.
Responsibilities
- Maintains proper housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment.
- This job is designed to encompass a range of concurrent and relatively equal responsibilities.
- Support equipment to include reels (metal payoff), power hoist, supply carts, band mike, micrometer, cable cutter, various hand tools, wire scrappers and housekeeping equipment.
Requirements
- Color perception required.
- A degree of dexterity required particularly in threading die plates and changing reels.
- Precision required in measuring, monitoring, and maintaining core or unit O.D.'s.
- Degree of organization required.
