About the role
- Ensures accurate and detailed records, proper accounting treatment, and reporting of fixed Exercises accounting control and proper financial treatment of the accounts in the given specialized area.
Responsibilities
- Supports capital expenditure activity including purchases, capitalized labor, and capitalized interest.
- Resolves differences and initiates corrective action as Owns responsibility of the corporate accounting Asset Management sub-ledger to provide accurate records of asset cost and depreciation activity.
- Audit Support - assists in the preparation of fixed asset audit schedules, monthly reporting, and ad-hoc
- Month end and Year end close - support a variety of tasks as needed related to journal entries, analysis, reconciliations and overall ensuring the balance sheet and income statement are properly stated each period.
- Ability to create ad hoc queries in database, comfortable with technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with an Accounting or Finance concentration required or equivalent
- Employment is subject to verification of an applicant's identity and eligibility for employment in the United States as required by immigration laws.
- A successful candidate will have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Qualified candidates will possess outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task projects while meeting aggressive timelines with minimal supervision.
- Candidates must have strong attention to detail and be result oriented.
- Advanced Excel user and ability to adapt to continually changing technology.
Nice to have
- This position requires excellent knowledge of GAAP and experience in accounting for fixed assets preferred.
- SAP (S/4HANA) experience preferred.
- Experienced with Sage Software fixed asset system preferred.

Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $99,000 - $113,000 USD.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly internal capital expenditure and fixed asset reports for forecasting and annual audit analysis.
