About the role
- This role typically involves greater responsibility than a standard research assistant, including mentoring junior staff, managing parts of research projects, and ensuring compliance with research protocols.
- This is a full-time position working out of our Reston, VA office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of research studies or experiments.
- Collect, organize, and maintain quantitative and qualitative research data.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to support research objectives.
- Support the preparation of manuscripts and publications.
- Manage research documentation, databases, and study records.
- The Senior Research Assistant supports the research team and projects by coordinating study activities, collecting and analyzing data, maintaining documentation, and assisting with publications.
- Ability to manage multiple research tasks and deadlines.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of research experience or equivalent experience in a research environment.
- Candidates must be able to work regular office hours Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
- Required Qualifications

- Experience working on research projects.
- Experience with research ethics protocols (IRB or equivalent).
- Prior experience supervising or training research staff.
- Publication or contribution to academic or industry research outputs.
