About the role
- We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the overall field execution of infrastructure construction projects in and around Birmingham, LA.
- The Traveling Superintendent plays a critical role in maintaining consistency in execution, safety culture, and operational excellence across RNGD's infrastructure portfolio.
- Establish and direct field execution strategies related to scheduling, logistics, manpower planning, and work sequencing
Responsibilities
- Builds cooperative, trusting relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Develops and motivates project teams through coaching and mentoring
- Drives accountability and fosters a high-performance culture
Requirements
- Log, track, and process required project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, safety documentation, inspections, and work plans
Nice to have
- 6+ years of field leadership experience in civil or infrastructure construction environments
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes, sequencing, and systems
- Ability to travel regularly and work on active construction jobsites
