  • They will also draft various sketches, plans, and exhibits using CAD.
  • Drafting grading, drainage, utility, street frontage improvements, and stormwater management plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

  • Carries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team.
  • With every project, we work to build connections and strengthen relationships.
  • The Engineering Technician will be in charge of independently producing engineering design plans for public works project and land development, utilizing AutoCAD software.
  • They will be responsible for working with an engineering design team from initial concepts to final plan production.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or carry items ( up to 20 lbs.)
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (field checks)
  • Ability to modify practices, systems or attitudes to align with new requirements.

Nice to have

  • 0-2 years of experience in a position requiring intensive AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet, etc.
  • Experience with BlueBeam a plus.
