About the role
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Set up welding equipment, fixtures, and parameters for assigned jobs
- Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and work instructions
Requirements
- Required PPE including safety glasses, welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes, ear protection, and protective clothing
- Produce quality weldments while meeting required production rates
- Knowledge of MIG welding equipment setup and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and manufacturing specifications
Skills
- Experience using oxy-acetylene torches, grinders, sanders and hand tools
- Hand tools and air tools including wrenches, hammers, clamps, grinders, sanders, and cut-off tools
- Work involves operating equipment and high-RPM air-powered metal finishing tools.
Compensation
