About the role

  • This job provides direct care (including IV therapy) of assigned patients within the framework of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Directs and assists ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties and interacts with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.

Requirements

  • Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Required - None.
  • Required - Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in state of practice.
  • Manages personal professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training and credentials.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

  • Preferred - IV therapy credentials.
