About the role

- Working closely with studio and production leadership, you will act as a driving force for consistent processes, team health / culture and the mentoring of the next generation of production talent.

Responsibilities
- Schedule & Goal Creation: Collaborate with area leadership and partners to create, organize, track, and manage feature and/or department schedules with actionable goals.
- suggest effective mitigation strategies and aggressively manage feature or scope creep.
- Feature Ownership: Lead specific features from inception to completion as a Feature Owner, partnering with other producers to identify dependencies, eliminate bottlenecks, mitigate risks and ensure seamless execution.
- Issue Resolution: Use a critical thinking mindset to identify, track, manage, and resolve project impediments daily by proactively providing solutions to ensure no "dangling threads" slow down team progress.
- An Adaptive Planner & Doer: An opportunistic self-starter who proactively identifies what needs doing and owns it, making tough, timely decisions to achieve project goals.
- A Trusted Collaborator: A professional, respectful, and approachable diplomat who excels at building bridges, managing different personalities, and influencing without authority.
- Risk & Scope Mitigation: Actively identify complex development, project, or personnel risks in a timely manner; suggest effective mitigation strategies and aggressively manage feature or scope creep.
- Grounded in the Craft: Speaks the languages of game development, leads by example, and is always willing to "roll up your sleeves" whenever it's needed. Understands that the game's interests come before any individual or group

Requirements
- An Expert Communicator: Highly articulate, thorough, and direct in both written and verbal communications, with an ability to adapt your style across informal group discussions and formal meetings.
- Tooling: Minimum intermediate level JIRA experience paired with a strong understanding of Agile processes and how to adapt to a game development reality

Nice to have
- 8-12 years of experience on a HD / AAA game development team.
- Live service experience is a plus.
- Level of Experience: 8-12 years of experience on a HD / AAA game development team.

- Focused on setting up developers and producers with the tools, backing, and roles needed for ultimate success.
- Able to help developers and direct reports alike grow to their full potential.
Compensation
- The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,900 and $161,160 per Year.
