About the role
- Postdoctoral Associate | Molecular Biology Wang Lab Farmington, CT The Wang Lab at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to study molecular mechanisms in hematological malignancies.
- Our laboratory uses a multidisciplinary approach by integrating genomics, epigenomics, and immunology.
- The ideal candidate would have a strong background in molecular biology, cancer biology and genomic technologies.
Responsibilities
- The overall goal of our laboratory is to understand dysregulated processes that drive disease initiation and therapy resistance in leukemia as well as to identify new therapeutic strategies.
- The postdoctoral scientist will lead an exciting project that applies a broad range of cutting-edge technologies, such as CRISPR-based tools, single-cell multi-omics, and cancer mouse models.
Requirements
- Based on years of experience as Postdoc
- Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, or related field of study.
- Strong training background in molecular biology, cell biology, next-generation sequencing technology.
- Candidates should have at least one 1st author publication record in peer-reviewed journal.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, able to work independently and effectively with other members in a productive team.

- Year 1 - 2: $67,318
- Year 2 - 3: $69,095

- Experience in computational biology, genetic screens and single-cell technologies are preferred.
