About the role
- The company began commercial shipments of its Mainspring Linear Generators in 2020 and today has hundreds of megawatts in advanced development and field operations for leading Fortune 500 companies, data centers, and utilities.
- In this position, you will play a direct role in completing planned and reactive service operations on our generators.
- In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining system uptime, availability, and performance for deployed units on customer sites in a specific region.
Requirements
- Experience with precision measuring, down to.001", using micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, etc.
- Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift to 50 lbs., and wear required PPE
- Must have knowledge of how to use and maintain basic tools, such as torque wrenches and torque specifications
- Ability to learn quickly, is self-motivated and safety oriented
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair. Experience with automotive, aviation, and/or heavy equipment (i.e. HVAC, elevators/lifts, or industrial equipment) assembly a plus
- Experience with precision measuring, down to.001", using micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, etc. Also, familiarity with torque wrenches and documentation of repairs performed
- Must have experience with following written and verbal work instructions while on-site
- A proven track record for the ability to work well with others as part of a dynamic team
- Valid Driver's license required; Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred
Nice to have
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair.
- Experience with automotive, aviation, and/or heavy equipment (i.e. HVAC, elevators/lifts, or industrial equipment) assembly a plus
- Excellent communication skills, software knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus
- Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred
- Valid Driver's license required
