About the role
- Job Description You will be responsible for defining, supporting, securing, and administering SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in database management
- Proficiency across a wide range of database technologies, including:
- Experience creating and managing standalone SQL databases
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues
- Experience troubleshooting daily SQL Server, SQL Cluster, Oracle, and/or MS Access issues, including error triage
- Experience responding to requests for change (RFCs) for maintenance and/or enhancements
- Experience performing server maintenance, installing software patches, etc.
- Experience establishing and enforcing database security policies, user access controls, and data encryption
- Experience monitoring and optimizing database performance
- Experience planning, implementing, and managing backup and recovery strategies
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree.
- Prior Federal experience.
