About the role

  • We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing and analyzing steel connections, committed to continuous learning, and eager to contribute to exciting projects that make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibilities will include structural analysis for delegated steel connection design projects.
  • Typical projects would consist of steel connection design, miscellaneous steel design, and erection engineering.
  • Review 3-D BIM models to aid in building design, connection design and shop drawing reviews.
  • Receive support for relocation expenses if moving to the Nashville or St.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written.
  • An advanced understanding of relevant building codes, materials, and standards.
  • Enthusiasm and desire to succeed and develop technical skills.
  • Passion for steel design and growing professional knowledge and skills in steel construction.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a diverse and talented team of professionals who are passionate about what they do.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in civil or structural engineering is a plus.
  • PE certification is a plus.
  • Software skills with any of the following are a plus: Ram Connection, RISA Connection, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, Trimble Connect and Revit.
