Requirements
- Familiarity with the Charlottesville public transportation system or a willingness to familiarize oneself with the Charlottesville public transportation system
Compensation
- $20k-$25k

- The Health Team Intern will work closely with the IRC Health Team to assist clients with their healthcare needs.
- Provide transportation for clients and their families to medical, dental, and vision appointments.
- Implement a transit orientation to familiarize clients with the available modes of public transportation they can use to attend medical, dental, and vision appointments.
- Assist Health Team with administrative tasks (phone calls, filing, collecting signed paperwork, making medical appointments, etc.)
- Assist clients on an as-needed basis (prescription assistance, medical bill assistance, etc.)
