About the role
- We're seeking an exceptional Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of our high-power (2kV // 7kA) non-invasive TMS neuromodulation system.
- You'll drive the architecture of the world's most efficient, scalable brain stimulator-improving our current system while designing a next-gen v2.
- This is a hands-on role for a 10x engineer passionate about mental health, with the opportunity to build a team as we grow.
Responsibilities
- Design & Integration: Define system architecture, integrate subsystems.
- Circuit Design: Design and lay out control circuit boards and other key electronics.
- Contractor & Vendor Management: Oversee contractors, collaborate with vendors.
- Documentation & Improvement: Maintain records, drive design improvements.
- Collaboration: Lead and work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ampa is a pioneering neurotechnology startup developing brain stimulation technology to help eradicate depression.
Nice to have
- 5+ years in the field
- Bachelor in EE required, masters preferred.
Skills

Compensation
- $120K to $200K · 0.4% - 1.2%
