About the role
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in membrane development and electrochemical processes.
- This position will be focused on laboratory work to advance new types of ion-selective membranes that can be utilized in critical minerals recovery from dilute feed streams.
- This will require innovative approaches to solve challenges that go beyond the published literature.

Requirements
- A proven track record demonstrated through journal publications and patent applications.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work with large volumes of hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to change projects and work on a variety of projects simultaneously.

- Must be able to respond to issues in the laboratory quickly.
Nice to have
- Knowledge in the following areas and techniques: ion-selective sorbents and membranes, 2D materials, electrodialysis, membrane fabrication especially in thin-film composite membranes and hollow fiber membranes.

- The expected hiring range for this position is $72,879.00-$121,465.00.
