About the role
- CrowdStrike is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team.
- This hands-on role focuses on installing and configuring data center hardware while maintaining operational efficiency.
- We are currently open to candidates that are within a reasonable commuting distance to Wenatchee, WA, as this is an on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Perform hardware installation, configuration, and testing of data center equipment
- Perform server and network upgrades within a production data center.
- Run fiber optic and copper cabling to support growing infrastructure.
- Maintain proper cable documentation and cable management standards
- Participate in Data Center and expansion builds outs
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
- Employee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections
Requirements
- 4+ years experience supporting Production Data Centers.
- Familiarity with Linux and other network operating systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
- Ability to express good judgment to take action & move forward.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting a large scale Production Data Center.
- Knowledge with routing systems such as Cisco, Linux, Arista.
- Industry certifications a plus (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA+, Linux, etc.).
- Familiarity with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, GoLang.
- Comfortable using a command line interface
