About the role
- This is a full‑time, on‑site role in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Conduct hands‑on troubleshooting, teardown, assembly, and validation work.
- Travel to supplier sites as needed (10-15% domestic and international travel).
Responsibilities
- Support proof‑of‑concept development and product specification activities.
- Design test fixtures and experiments to validate mechanical concepts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop subsystem designs.
- Address day‑to‑day production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Design, build and deliver mechanical prototypes.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of GD&T, plastics, injection molding, sheet metal, and CNC processes.
- Familiarity with 3D printing technologies.
Nice to have
- Role Requirements 3+ years of product development experience, preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (PTC Creo preferred) with familiarity in top‑down design methodology.

Compensation
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. *Total compensation may vary within this range and is determined by years and level of relevant experience, job-related skills, education, and other factors.
