About the role

  • Summary The Content Editor is the visual storyteller-turning strategy and narrative into dynamic visual content that informs, inspires, and activates audiences.
  • The Pivot Group will serve as an incubator for this role, whereas Hummingbird Media will be the primary client.
  • The nature of our business requires long hours, and we expect all staff to be flexible in this area.

Responsibilities

  • Design static and motion assets and visual templates for multi-channel digital use.
  • Collaborate with writers and strategists to transform concepts into compelling visual stories.
  • Maintain brand consistency and high production standards across all deliverables.
  • Manage video and digital content pipelines from concept through final delivery.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of practical, demonstrated, or project-based experience in video editing and digital content production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or comparable tools.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, typography, and motion design.

  • Compensation & Benefits
  • The salary for this position is set at $7,083 per month. There is also the opportunity for end of year bonuses, based off individual and firm performance. To ensure pay equity across our team, salaries are non-negotiable.

Compensation
