About the role

  • USPh (U.S. Physical Therapy) is one of the largest publicly traded, independent operators of leading physical and occupational therapy clinics dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through a collaborative, partnership-driven model.
  • The primary responsibilities are ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements for the clinics in their regions, including the income statement, balance sheet and tracking of cash.
  • Additionally, the Regional Controller prepares various financial, operational, and metric analyses for their clinics, and assists in the preparation of the annual regional budget.

Nice to have

  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience (prior public accounting experience a plus) in a corporate environment, ideally within organizations with multiple entities
  • CPA is preferred but not required
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong ERP systems experience
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who is able to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional businesses, internal controls, and SOX compliance
  • Excitement around navigating a high-growth, rapidly changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Proficient in interacting with and creating a collaborative working environment amongst stakeholders at all levels of the organization
