About the role

  • The Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America Converting Team is currently searching for Converting Machine Operators.
  • This role will be based out of our Bordentown, NJ facility.
  • The Converting Machine Operator is responsible for operating a production line for Hygiene products.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate personal safety and help maintain a safe work environment for themselves and fellow members of the production team.
  • Ability to perform mechanicals adjustments on the machine.
  • Daily documentation and maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Lead changeovers and other technical activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to check quality of the products.
  • This role requires frequent walking or standing, the ability to climb ladders, occasional bending or kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and pushing/pulling rolls up to 200 lbs with assistance

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
