About the role
- This is not a traditional frontend or backend role!
Responsibilities
- Build AI Native Systems
- Design, implement, and operate backend and fullstack systems that incorporate LLMs, tools, and agents as core components
- Build agentic workflows (multi-step, tool using, stateful systems) that solve real product and operational problems
- Engineer with AI as a Partner
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and other stakeholders to shape solutions, not just implement specs
- Own the System End to End
- Design APIs, services, and data models (primarily backend leaning)
- Members receive access to specialized clinicians, including endocrinologists, obesity medicine specialists, and clinical pharmacists, at-home lab testing, prescription medications, and lifestyle support.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong knowledge of major parts of our tech stack (AWS, Java, Typescript)
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills
- use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) as a force multiplier,
- think in terms of systems, workflows, and agents, not just endpoints and screens,
- can turn ambiguous product problems into working, production-ready solutions,
