Experience 10+ years Must Have 5+ years of Java Development Apache Kafka AWS Dynatrace Jenkins Kubernetes Microservices Mobile/Web Development RESTful APIs Splunk Spring Boot Terraform Required Technical Skills 3 -10 years of hands-on backend development using Java Strong expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems Proficiency with AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB, etc.) Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or similar tools) Experience using Dynatrace and/or Splunk for monitoring and logging Understanding of backend support for mobile apps (authentication, performance, scalability) Core Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, secure RESTful APIs used by collections space Build and maintain microservices in a cloud-native environment Integrate backend services with mobile-specific capabilities (authentication, push notifications, analytics pipelines, etc.) Perform code reviews, debugging, monitoring, and performance tuning Ensure reliability, scalability, and observability across backend services Collaborate with mobile, web, DevOps, and product teams Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to engineering best practices Participate in full SDLC including requirements, design, development, testing, and production support Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience designing backend systems that support mobile applications Strong knowledge of Java, microservices, and cloud-native architectures Hands-on AWS experience Solid understanding of distributed systems, message queues, and API security
