Responsibilities

  • Manage the contract review intake process.
  • Perform first-line review, redlining, and analysis of standard client agreements against established legal playbooks.
  • Legal Operations & Corporate Support
  • Manage legal calendar, deadlines, and compliance tracking.
  • Support outside counsel engagements, including document collection, billing coordination, and matter organization.
  • Maintain and organize contract templates, clause libraries, guidance documents, and internal legal resources.
  • Join Fehr & Peers to help build an efficient, collaborative legal function that supports meaningful work improving communities.
  • As a key member of our Legal team, you'll partner closely with our in-house attorney to keep legal operations running smoothly, coordinate contract workflows, and ensure our attorney can focus on providing strategic legal guidance across the company.
  • Our team works collaboratively with project managers, business services staff, and firm leadership to identify practical solutions, manage risk, and support business objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a corporate or transactional paralegal, preferably supporting in-house counsel or a law firm serving business clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
  • Ability to reliably work in the office at least two days per week.
  • Experience working with contracts and legal document management.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience conducting legal research and preparing legal documents.
  • Curiosity and adaptability in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve legal workflows and operational efficiency.
  • A collaborative mindset grounded in humility, responsiveness, and a commitment to supporting colleagues across the firm.

Nice to have

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved or accredited program preferred.
