About the role

  • The Senior Accountant will demonstrate strong ownership, judgment, and attention to detail while performing assigned responsibilities and continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • This individual will play a key role in the monthly close process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue analyses, and supporting schedules for financial statement reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform revenue data analysis in revenue and accounts receivable and associated reserves
  • Support revenue recognition for product sales and collaboration arrangements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, commercial, and various business owners on a variety of projects
  • Perform and maintain assigned internal controls on a monthly basis
  • Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility

Requirements

  • of bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting

Nice to have

  • Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech revenue models, such as product revenue, gross-to-net, rebates, chargebacks, distributor arrangements, returns reserves, and government pricing a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems and revenue subledger tools preferred
  • Public company, SOX, or external audit experience preferred
  • CPA or CPA track preferred
  • Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP experience preferred

Compensation

  • $100,000 - $123,600 USD
