- Assess their impact on eBay's businesses.
- Evaluate new and evolving business initiatives, products, services, and operating models to uncover indirect tax implications and requirements.
- Proactively find opportunities to improve indirect tax processes, controls, documentation, and scalability across the organization.
- Extensive technical knowledge of U.S. sales and use tax, including the ability to independently research, interpret, and apply complex tax laws and guidance.
- Working knowledge of indirect tax regimes in Canada, Mexico, and emerging markets in South America is a plus.
- Proven track record of independently leading and managing multiple complex projects and initiatives with limited oversight.
Compensation
- Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
- $125,000 - $135,000
- The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
- If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
