About the role
- Under general direction, the Analyst will structure, negotiate and draft complex agreements for the acquisition, lease, and sale of non-residential real estate interests, including the acquisition and disposition of real property and easements.
- Tasks include performing difficult and complex title analysis for real property acquisitions, easements, leases, and agreements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate legal review of leases, purchase and sale agreements, easement agreements and deeds, licenses, consent letters, and other related agreements, and support legal dispute resolution.
- Manage the escrow process in a timely a timely manner including drafting escrow instructions and other escrow documents.
Requirements
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and seven (7) years of full-time equivalent experience performing professional level analytical work.
- Juris Doctor or master's degree in public policy, Real Estate, Planning, Urban Studies, Law, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate agreements.
- Experience in analyzing deeds, maps and other title instruments.
- Geographic Information Systems experience.
- Experience in making presentations to public officials, agencies and community organizations
- Ability to monitor compliance of tenants and permittees in a large portfolio of complex commercial real estate agreements
- Ability to prepare applications, complex appraisal, and comparable commercial sales and rental rate data.
