About the role

Supporting the Maritime Division Leading Chief Petty Officer (LCPO), this role ensures the operational readiness of critical watercraft used in Naval Special Warfare missions.
The position includes performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on engines, craft, trailers, and electrical systems.
This role directly contributes to mission success by maintaining high reliability and readiness of maritime assets.

Outboard Motor Maintenance / Overhaul (OBM) Support personnel provide advanced technical expertise in the repair, overhaul, and sustainment of small craft propulsion systems and associated equipment.
To perform this job successfully, the incumbents will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently.

Conduct aluminum welding and structural repairs as required
Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring for small craft
Driver's License required
Must be able to operate Government vehicles and material handling equipment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Must have knowledge of logistics and maintenance tracking systems
Must be able to operate within classified environments and systems (Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) / Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET))
Ability to lift heavy equipment and engine components
Ability to work in marine, industrial, and outdoor environments

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
