Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing or related degree required.
  • Federal DEA Certification, ALS/First Aid/CPR Certifications required.
  • 2+ years of experience in internal medicine or family/general practice required.
  • Knowledge and experience with primary/urgent care.
  • Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage.
  • Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to promote teamwork.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize work, execute a plan, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • A proven record of successfully working with employees, stakeholders, clients, vendors, and guests.
  • Master's degree in nursing or related degree required. Nurse Practitioner Medical Certification and License in the state of assigned work required. Board certified in Specified Area of Medical Specialty. Federal DEA Certification, ALS/First Aid/CPR Certifications required. Certification for independent prescriptive authority to prescribe medications and controlled substances, under the licensure authority of the state board of nursing for the state of work. 2+ years of experience in internal medicine or family/general practice required. 2+ years of experience in occupational medicine preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care and applicable federal and state laws.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
  • Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services.
  • Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy and recovery
  • Strong technical expertise using Electronic Medical Record software, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to communicate medical conversations with clients, patients, business leaders and professionals.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to promote teamwork. Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships by approaching all work with integrity and commitment.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience in occupational medicine preferred.
  • Management skills providing leadership to members of the clinical team preferred.

Compensation

  • $100,000 - $128,000/yr for a schedule of 32hrs a week.
  • The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level.

  • Provide medical primary care services to client's employees (and potentially eligible family members of those employees) at specific Marathon Health clinic locations.
