About the role
- Ideal location in Mountain Time Zone but will consider other time zones
- The Medical Director is responsible for the administration of medical services, to ensure the appropriate and most cost-effective medical care is received.
- May provide clinical consultation and serve as clinical/strategic advisor to enhance clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Supports clinicians to ensure timely and consistent responses to members and providers.
- Identifies and develops opportunities for innovation to increase effectiveness and quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience

Skills
- Additional State licensing (or willing to obtain).
- Previous experience in utilization management.
- Experience with MCG, Carelon, and Anthem criteria is helpful.
- Oncology, Genetic Testing specialty review experience.
- Musculoskeletal review experience.
Compensation
- For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $272,624 to $427,524
