About the role
- You'll spend most of your day working alongside other mechanics, troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and helping keep the shop operating efficiently.
- Our equipment operates across the state of Wyoming, so when trucks and equipment are in the shop, quality repairs, preventative maintenance, and attention to detail are critical.
- Shop Operations Work alongside the Operations Manager to prioritize repairs and keep shop workflow moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and accurately document repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Team Support Work closely with other mechanics to troubleshoot difficult repairs.
- Help maintain a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Diesel trucks (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Western Star, and similar) Trailers and CDL fleet vehicles Construction support vehicles Heavy construction equipment as needed, including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, haul trucks, and compactors
- Fuel systems Perform preventative maintenance including:
- Oil and fluid changes Filter replacements DOT inspections Equipment inspections Scheduled maintenance services Fabricate hydraulic hoses and perform basic welding and fabrication as needed.
