About the role
- Position responsible for assisting technologist in performing examinations within the scope of service of the Imaging Department.
- Assist in all aspects of diagnostic imaging, under the direction of a licensed technologist.
- Communicate with staff in regards to patient's needs in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities

- Maintain adequate supplies in all imaging suites within department.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support or Heartsaver CPR with AED within 30 days of hire
Requirements
- Completes four (4) hours of radiation safety and protection training are required in accordance with the State of Texas, annually.
Nice to have
- High School graduate or GED, preferred
Skills
- One (1) year of experience in healthcare setting or currently enrolled in an accredited school for Radiologic Technology
- Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Windows and use of electronic mail
- Principal Accountabilities
- Meets expectations in customer service.
- Answers departmental telephones as necessary. Verifies information and resolves common problems.
