- Department: Parks + Rec Grade: 220 Salary: $28.58/hour Job Duties: This position is responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining a historic site; makes daily operational decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manages assigned historic site that is open to the general public six days per week for general tours, special events, and school tours.
- Develops and implements historic site programs consistent with expectations of department.
- Performs regular safety reviews of site, takes necessary steps to ensure that the public and staff are not exposed to hazards.
- Serves as a liaison with the volunteer group, which includes attending meetings, training volunteers, and coordinating with the volunteers to develop programming and staffing for events.
- Mo Town Living History Museum - Work with the site staff and volunteers to maintain the livestock.
- This associate oversees staffing, schedules, and supervision of multiple personnel; manages retail store operations; procures operational materials and resale items; and makes suggestions for capital equipment and capital projects.
Requirements
- Four (4) years of supervisory experience in a museum or historic site setting.
- Must be able to work weekends and occasional holidays.
- Must have basic computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office.
Compensation
- Salary: $28.58/hour
