About the role
- Join Our Team Calgary Aggregate Recycling is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our growing team.
- Load customer trucks and trailers efficiently while ensuring product accuracy and quality.
- Inspect equipment daily and complete pre-operational and post-operational checks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe and organized stockpiles, haul roads, work areas, and yard conditions.
- Work closely with plant operators, truck drivers, and other team members to support production targets.
- Maintain accurate production, equipment, and operational records as directed.
Requirements
- 5+ years equipment operator experience
- Comfortable getting out of equipment and working on the ground as required
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Willing to work out of town as required
- Ability to work long hours, including some weekends and overtime
- Experience working with a crusher considered an asset
- Group RSP eligibility after 2 years' employment
- Must comply with CAR's zero tolerance policy and complete the pre-employment drug & alcohol and fit testing
- Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- The successful candidate is expected to actively labor and support the team as much as possible when not operating equipment
