About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced global privacy professional to manage and support the execution of our privacy program across international markets. This role will partner closely with Legal, Security, Product, HR, Marketing, and IT teams to ensure compliance with evolving global privacy regulations while enabling business growth and innovation.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on privacy expert with strong knowledge of international privacy laws, operational privacy programs, data governance and regulatory compliance in a global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of the company's global privacy program and initiatives.
  • Support and oversee Back Up and Disaster Recovery (BDR) compliance initiatives, ensuring responsible data collection, usage, retention, governance and stewardship.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement privacy-by-design principles across products, systems, and business processes.
  • Support data subject rights requests, consent management, retention practices, and privacy operations processes.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and Legal teams on incident response and data protection matters.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance privacy policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
  • Monitor changes in privacy regulations and help drive organizational readiness and compliance efforts globally.
  • Support vendor privacy reviews, third-party risk assessments, and cross-border data transfer requirements.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on privacy expert with strong knowledge of international privacy laws, operational privacy programs, data governance and regulatory compliance in a global organization.
  • 7+ years of experience in privacy, compliance, legal, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of global privacy and data protection regulations and frameworks.
  • Experience supporting or managing privacy programs within multinational organizations.
  • Ability to balance regulatory compliance with practical business solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • advanced degree or privacy-related certifications preferred.
  • Experience with privacy operations, governance tools, consent management platforms, or data mapping tools preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent are strongly preferred.

Compensation

  • $107,000.00 - $152,500.00
