About the role

  • The Engineer - Network role reports into the Sr.

Responsibilities

  • Supports implementation and maintenance of enterprise network solutions, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity.
  • Monitors network performance and supports capacity planning and service improvements.
  • Documents network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborates with Network Engineering, Security, Voice, and Infrastructure teams on operational activities.
  • Follows established standards and best practices for network security and design.
  • This role is also responsible for participating in project delivery, troubleshooting, and operational support to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network services.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant network engineering experience.
  • Technical Expertise:

Nice to have

  • CCNA or equivalent
  • Fortinet NSE (entry-level, e.g., NSE4)
  • Cloud Networking:
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS networking concepts
  • Automation & Modern Practices:
  • Exposure to network automation concepts, tools, and processes (e.g., Python, APIs, Ansible), with an interest in improving operational efficiency through automation.
  • Delivering for the Business:
  • Achieving results and continuous improvement

Skills

  • Exposure to Fortinet SD‑WAN preferred
  • MPLS, DIA, and Internet-based WAN connectivity
  • SNMP-based monitoring tools
  • Basic network diagnostics and packet analysis
  • Security Fundamentals:
  • Experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or equivalent)
  • Basic understanding of VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL)
  • Core Services:
  • DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and network service fundamentals
  • Wireless Networking:
  • Experience supporting enterprise wireless environments
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting Tools:

Compensation

  • $106,000 - $132,500
