About the role

  • THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
  • PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized.
  • Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

Requirements

  • Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information.
  • Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled.
  • Experience using computer and automation systems.

  • experience utilizing automated systems
  • experience planning and executing Family Readiness Programs such as (but not limited to) Crisis Management, Legal, Financial, Tricare, ID/DEERS at a state National Guard level
  • experience coordinating efforts in family readiness programs that may have included employment outreach, volunteer training and management and quality of life and the well-being of Service members and families
  • experience briefing leaders and Commanders on the status of a unit's Family Program.

Compensation

  • $62k-$80k
