Responsibilities

  • Oversee design, development, and operation of the Processing Discover service s with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Drive modernization initiatives, including migration to microservices and adoption of cloud-native technologies.
  • Set technical direction, drive engineering standards, and establish operational processes.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a strong operational mindset and domain expertise.
  • We're seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the teams responsible for our core data processing services.

Requirements

  • Experience leading teams using Scrum or other agile development frameworks.
  • Track record of modernizing legacy or monolithic architectures to microservices.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, big data, and data engineering technologies (e.g., Temporal, Spark, Azure Data Lake Storage).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Compensation

  • The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
  • Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
  • $155,000 and $233,000
