About the role

  • These positions are part-time, as needed, for clinical and/or didactic courses depending on the experience and educational level of the applicant.
  • The standard teaching load is less than 9 course credit hours per semester or less than 18 credits over an academic year.

Requirements

  • Must have a graduate degree (a minimum of MSN) from a nationally accredited school.
  • Must have at least two years of clinical experience as a primary care provider (FNP, AGPCNP) caring for patients across the lifespan.
  • Possesses the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possesses the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Applicant must be able to verify U.S. employment eligibility.

Nice to have

  • Experience serving as or working with clinical preceptors.
  • Experience in teaching online, in person, and in simulated environments.
  • Experience with creating and/or revising online assessment and evaluation methods and technology.
  • Experience and understanding of student and/or patient confidentiality.
  • Appointment: Part-time as needed, depending on experience and open courses.
  • Positions are offered to qualified applicants as the need arises.
