Implement, administer, and continuously improve Badger Meter's EHS policies, processes, and programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Support the development and maintenance of programs such as fire prevention, emergency response, ergonomic assessments, evacuation planning, and weather‑related procedures.
Develop and report monthly EHS metrics, including injury and illness data, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
Respond to safety and environmental concerns, providing immediate support and coordinating urgent response efforts when needed.
Lead or participate in incident investigations, including injuries, property damage, and near misses
manage workers' compensation reporting, monitoring, and return‑to‑work coordination.
Maintain and audit safety training records
support and deliver training sessions as needed.
Travel up to 10% to support additional facilities.

Working knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, EPA, DOT, WDNR, and other applicable regulations.
Candidates must have hands‑on safety experience

Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental studies, health and safety, safety management, or a related field required; significant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
3+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety
