Responsibilities

  • Implement, administer, and continuously improve Badger Meter's EHS policies, processes, and programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support the development and maintenance of programs such as fire prevention, emergency response, ergonomic assessments, evacuation planning, and weather‑related procedures.
  • Develop and report monthly EHS metrics, including injury and illness data, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • Respond to safety and environmental concerns, providing immediate support and coordinating urgent response efforts when needed.
  • Lead or participate in incident investigations, including injuries, property damage, and near misses
  • manage workers' compensation reporting, monitoring, and return‑to‑work coordination.
  • Maintain and audit safety training records
  • support and deliver training sessions as needed.
  • Travel up to 10% to support additional facilities.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, EPA, DOT, WDNR, and other applicable regulations.
  • Candidates must have hands‑on safety experience

Nice to have

  • Experience with environmental a plus.
