Responsibilities
- Implement, administer, and continuously improve Badger Meter's EHS policies, processes, and programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support the development and maintenance of programs such as fire prevention, emergency response, ergonomic assessments, evacuation planning, and weather‑related procedures.
- Develop and report monthly EHS metrics, including injury and illness data, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
- Respond to safety and environmental concerns, providing immediate support and coordinating urgent response efforts when needed.
- Lead or participate in incident investigations, including injuries, property damage, and near misses
- manage workers' compensation reporting, monitoring, and return‑to‑work coordination.
- Maintain and audit safety training records
- support and deliver training sessions as needed.
- Travel up to 10% to support additional facilities.

Requirements
- Working knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, EPA, DOT, WDNR, and other applicable regulations.
- Candidates must have hands‑on safety experience
Nice to have
- Experience with environmental a plus.
