Responsibilities
- Partner with 1LOD and 2LOD stakeholders to promote effective risk identification, credible challenge, issue resolution, control alignment, and timely mitigation of product-related risks.
- Monitor product-owned issues, audit findings, policy exceptions, control gaps, and governance follow-up items to support timely remediation, evidence retention, reporting, and escalation when needed.
- Lead development of management reporting, dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, attestations, and governance metrics to provide visibility into policy adherence, PSRA status, product risk trends, issue aging, and lifecycle documentation completeness.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to develop meaningful reporting, identify trends, assess risk themes, track remediation progress, and present insights to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, influence without direct authority, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
- The Product Risk Team Manager will also support the continued maturity of product governance standards by strengthening operating procedures, improving reporting, coaching team members, and driving disciplined execution across new product approvals, product changes, enhancements, deactivations, ongoing monitoring, and policy adherence activities.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Risk Specialists and Senior Product Risk Specialists, ensuring clear priorities, consistent execution, timely delivery, and strong alignment to Product Management governance objectives.
- Establish and maintain team operating standards, templates, job aids, procedures, routines, and quality controls to drive consistency across product governance execution and policy adherence monitoring.
- Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of product governance documentation, including procedures, process maps, source-of-record expectations, product catalog data, risk rating documentation, and evidence repositories.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and procedures, translate requirements into executable routines, and drive consistent adoption across business lines and product teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience in Product Management, Treasury Management Sales or similar field.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of general financial services or banking products and services.
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating risk, product, governance, analyst, or project resources in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment required.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management, credit cards, as well as pricing dynamics.
- Occasional travel required.

- Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
