About the role
- You'll work with various departments to enhance and streamline the operations process for AmeriHome.
- Identify opportunities to streamline process, reduce cycle times, improve ILQA and QC quality. - Identify opportunities between operations and training team (Gap analysis).
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation with AI, robotics/machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Identify risks in our process (HMDA, CFPB, TRID etc…). Create and present relevant information (trends, accomplishments, opportunities, etc.) as needed for management meetings. Act as a liaison between operations and BSA/BI.
- You'll maintain a consistent and constant flow of communication with team members and managers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience in Process Analysis, Process Ownership or similar field.
- Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including
- Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Excel VBA.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with mortgage software (Encompass).
- Enhance user experience with Encompass and implement permanent fixes for workarounds.
Nice to have
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
