About the role

  • Education: Either an Engineering Postgraduate or Graduate with an aptitude for Finance and Cost controlling with 10-15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements

  • Either an Engineering Postgraduate or Graduate with an aptitude for Finance and Cost controlling with 10-15 years related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of acceptable accounting principles and practices.
  • Or a Finance Postgraduate or Graduate with an aptitude for Project Costing and Cost Control with 10-15 years of related experience.
  • 10-15 years' experience preferably Bulk material handling and/or surface mining systems industries.
  • Knowledge of the project structure in a client/supplier business environment.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and scheduling.
  • A thorough knowledge of standard contract terms, including hourly, lumps sum, not-to-exceed and how they are applied in the billing process.
  • Knowledge of contract law and regulations

  • Tracking complex EP and EPC projects with a budget of at least $10 million from award through commissioning and acceptance.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and scheduling. A thorough knowledge of standard contract terms, including hourly, lumps sum, not-to-exceed and how they are applied in the billing process.
  • Ability to draft contractual agreements and clauses

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Preference for full working knowledge in SAP
  • Additional preference for experience with Project Management Software
  • Certificates and Licenses:
  • Preference for P.M.P
  • Starting salary at $106,000USD
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
