About the role

  • Provide career and transfer advice to students planning to transfer to 4-year institutions.
  • Serve as a liaison for academic advisors/coaches regarding transfer information.
  • The specific duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Promote and build awareness for IRSC Transfer Services and partner schools' transfer opportunities.
  • Coordinate and implement informational sessions and workshops for students seeking transfer services.
  • Implement outreach and communication with college/university admissions representatives to facilitate student transfer opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in career counseling and transfer services.
  • Proven effectiveness in customer service.
  • Partner with Academic Advisors to support degree completion and facilitate transfer opportunities for students.

Skills

  • Demonstrated strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

  • $17.36/hour | All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate's education and experience. | Open until filled.
