About the role

This role will pay between $40 to $60 per hour depending upon experience.
Read meters and gauges or automatic recording devices at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
Record data such as temperature of equipment, hours of operation, temperature or pressure, and fluid levels.

Troubleshoot, maintain, install, and calibrate protective relays, PLCs, transformers, motor control centers and instrumentation.

Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical prints and processes.
Technical competency including understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.
All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position.
Strong electrical and instrumentation aptitude, good understanding of mechanics, physics, chemistry and mathematics.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent technical, conceptual, and financial skills.
Professionally and technically competent, assertive, ethical and ambitious.
