About the role
- Read meters and gauges or automatic recording devices at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
- Record data such as temperature of equipment, hours of operation, temperature or pressure, and fluid levels.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, install, and calibrate protective relays, PLCs, transformers, motor control centers and instrumentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
Nice to have
- This role will pay between $40 to $60 per hour depending upon experience.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical prints and processes.
- Technical competency including understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.
- All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position.
- Strong electrical and instrumentation aptitude, good understanding of mechanics, physics, chemistry and mathematics.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent technical, conceptual, and financial skills.
